Thank you for your kind words! Hitman made me laugh quite a bit whenever that kind of crazy scenario popped up. Happy to pass it forward!

“And the emergent gameplay of your narrative CAN get redundantly pigeonholed into the conclusive tie-on, “and then my murder pile began”

The way Gerardi was talking the other day, he’s got the freedom to expand on the individuality of Gameological while still doing everything he can to keep the community intact and thriving. I’ve got high hopes, and the number of people that have made the jump (with mixed difficulty) are only making me feel better

There’s always math, especially when they promise there won’t be.

Well that’s an odd way to welcome a long-standing community to the verticals next door. Thanks for stopping by, though. Maybe next time tell us what games you’re into these days?

I’m finally at the last level of Dishonored 2 which has taken a while because I’m exploring every corner doing a ghost/no-kill run. There are many things I am fond of, but getting to the end of the Duke’s palace and realizing that I could have finished it in 3 minutes using shortcuts was delightful.

This weekend, I’ll keep playing Prey and praying my Dad finally gives me the Wi-Fi board I need. Only having internet on my phone sucks.

Kinja seems to assume everyone is using from the same time zone, which is rather ridiculous.

Unless there’s a setting I’ve missed, it doesn’t localise the times either. This is most confusing for me.

Ooh, I do enjoy a game that encourages groove-getting-into. Looking forward to it!

Lacking familiarity with the Cartoon Network series, I thought Nintendo had just handed the reigns of their promotion machine to some delightfully odd animation studio that liked bears. I’ll confess that I’m slightly disappointed in the more reasonable/true explanation.

You guys have no idea how thankful I was to see this post have over 100 comments this morning. Considering the wasteland that is WOT, I’m really glad that this space is still trucking along.

There are a lot of comments above, but here goes. I recently updated my video card, and can now play Farcry 4 on high graphics settings. I am about 15% in, and I really like it. The world is gorgeous and the map looks fun. When I get tired of the stress, I will move to a Rome II game I have going, Caesar’s

You do Warmachine games to time-out draws? When I would play under a time-limit we did death clock where each player has a chess clock and if you’re individual time allotment runs out you lose. Its the Steamroller ruleset so if you’re more into painting its probably not what you want to start playing with, though it

Yeah, The Bastard’s Wound is a ~10 hour mid-game DLC coming out on September 7, and it will be accompanied by a big patch that adds more voice acting and a “new path to an unseen ending.” The DLC itself is about a refugee settlement, and it will include companion quests for Landry, Barik, and Verse. Throw in the

Glad to hear your endorsement of the latest No Man’s Sky updates. I, too, played it for entirely too long while it was still “featureless” and enjoyed the simple feats of exploration and mining, eventually getting bored when I jumped into three consecutive star systems where I was immediately attacked by hostile

Oh good, so they are adding in a bunch of new content to flesh out the later portions of the game? Great to hear. Because that intro section is splendidly constructed but boy, for a game about a mad tyrant dominating a world with endless oppression, does everything quickly become a tad too rote and routine.

For the first time after about 6 years of not playing, I find myself wanting to play WoW. I told myself I’d never pay a subscription for a game again, so I think I’ll buy a few games on Steam, like West of Loathing to distract myself until the urge passes. I’ve also been playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided so that I can

Finally picked up a Switch today, and after some futzing around with getting the joycons to stay synced while in TV mode (I had to disco them in settings, remove them from the console, turn off the console, turn it back on and then reattach the joycons to the console. I was going to try something like that anyway, but

Some of you may be aware that Paradox Interactive made a controversial price change a few months back, and then reversed their decision after complaints. Anyway, as compensation they have been giving away a game or two DLC to those outside the US who suffered this injustice. So I will play Tyranny this weekend.
