Thanks! I’m excited to get a chance, glassmaking is as much a science as it is an art, like the chemistry of “impurities”, its material properties (like in Prince Rupert’s Drops and fiber optics), and even furnace controls, are fascinating.

I couldn’t agree more - last week, I’m thinking one KG response was from a Deadspin regular, as his knowledge of football and Madden seemed beyond even those Gameologicians that enjoy it, and his username had “Bro-something” used with hardly any facetiousness. Definitely a nice person, and helpful, so WHO posts

The Tournament Code I’ve been using is: 0699-6646-7941

Oh, dear. I don’t remember playing many games that took place at school - I’ve played a very small bit of Bully, but mostly I remember games like The Simpsons (Arcade), which had levels that took place in Springfield Elementary. I’m sure there was one that I had someone made on Amiga’s Shoot ‘Em Up Construction Kit or

The used store is actually called “CD Cafe” at 10 W Market St.

The middle section has a bit of rhythm, but the finish just doesn’t do it for me. I’ll try your advice...maybe a bike might put me in that mindset until I feel it...

I do love Big Blue, and I agree that there’s something too chaotic about Mt. Wario for me - I can’t seem to find a rhythm in it, or I’m just untenably slow.

Next Friday is Mario Kart 8 on the 8th, so this is the perfect lead in! I got a message on Discord that BillyBillericay, who announced in WAYPTW he just bought a Wii U and might try to join us! I made sure to have him let me know if he can buy the DLC in time - I want to include both him and the DLC if possible, but

I didn’t buy Federation Force simply out of spite (because I love some Metroid Prime on a portable), but I did resolve to buy it at launch after the vitriol it unfairly received simply for not being what others wanted. If all people wanted was a Metroid Prime logo, then they should have shown the stupid logo two years

It’s bad, but not as bad as it seems - just different.

Welcome to the party! Hope you got through your missions last night safely! I don’t know which is worse, having games with Permadeath that at least let you “fail forward” or games that require the members to all survive for the story and require you to restart a mission after an hour and a half of strategizing because

There are actually 2 stores I’ve seen that sell games in Corning, and I’m hoping to go to the “proper” game store tonight (it closes at 9pm), but the place I went to last night is called...oh, darn. I don’t remember, and it’s only been open for 6 months! The receipt actually says, “Silverbird Espresso LLC”, believe it

That was a really cool article - I have Source Gaming on my RSS Feed, and that article had your fingerprints all over it, just from the headline/topic.

ZTO, if you’re very nearby and want to come to the race, I was just told we have a few General Admission tickets available (“Ooh! General!”) if you want to come watch noisy race cars run through a serene wooded meadow...

Oops, I either subconsiously saw your portmanteau or it was one that was waiting to be made...despite my annoyance at the overuse of portmanteaus in modern language.

Me, too! I originally had “I lay down my king, sir.”, then because of your gender neutral username “GenderNeutralUsername” tried to add “or Madam”, then realized it was neutral which could have been no gender, so I removed it completely. I think our little discussion has “not weird” all the way down.

I love your article-comments (Articomments? Commenticles?), as you definitely earn the privilege of using that much space with quality insight and fun reading. Don’t ever change!

Yeah, because after that interview with Drew Carey, he ain’t taking over that The Price is Right gig any time soon, and I’d not want to wish any harm to befall Drew to provide that opportunity...though I’ve considered what it might be like...

We get out of the track so late, we have only visited the gift shop! It seems lovely, though, and I’d love to learn more about the process and how much is still made in the area - we were just wondering that this morning, and were asking if technology (like Gorilla Glass) was developed here, but everything was made in
