I love The Canon and listen almost every week. Weirdly though, the live episode was one of the few I didn't like. Devin Faraci totally played to the crowd and was much more of a bully than usually. What I like about that podcast is that they listen to each other without interrupting one another all the time.

I also loved the Nicholas Sparks episode with Eliza Skinner that they did right before those two. This was a very good episode and it benefits from being a studio episode, which allows them to talk to one another without acknowledging the crowd reaction after every joke.

The development team probably work their butts off to release the game on time. With yearly releases like that, they have to use multiple development teams working in parallel. Unity was probably way too far in development when ACIV was released to change the core of their game.
