Yeah, his performance in that is on-par with Daniel Day-Lewis in In The Name of the Father, which is easily one of the best performances I've ever seen from an actor. Joaquin Phoenix has always been talented but his turn in The Master was astonishing. Looking forward to seeing Her.

Lars and the Real Girl was pretty damn heartbreaking :(

You've met her and met her…

I am dying laughing at this entire fucking thread. Thanks you guys. FOR KILLING ME.

He was on Law and Order: SVU at the end of last season/beginning of this current season, playing an ABSOLUTE PSYCHO. Definitely the creepiest performance I've ever seen on a network procedural. He's an exceptional actor.

Best ever.

Hell, it's better than 21 Jump Street 2

His "Kneel before Zod!" is also fucking adorable.

She's awesome! Definitely the HBIC. Great to see such a powerful female in charge of all the male guards. Her takedown of Healy is especially delightful.

He was great. Everyone on that show is great, actually. I can't believe Taylor Schilling was the only person to be nominated for a GG…not that the Golden Globes count for much, but still. Natasha Lyonne!!

Hmm, I don't know. Pornstache is prettttttty unlikable.

Agreed!! He seemed so level headed at first. I was pretty surprised by his green card marriage situation, then downright repulsed by his weird lesbian hate. Ugh. Fuck Healy. Especially in that final scene.

YES! My heart hurts right now just thinking about how perfect and adorable Pat was. Lilley really needed her in WCBH, the series that introduced us to the human garbage that is Phil Olivetti. She was the perfect counterbalance.

I was watching with my mom and at some point she was like "What about his son?" and I just laughed and laughed at her naiveté.

Yeah, I think I actually teared up when Jonah was dragged away from "story day". I think Lilley did an incredible job setting up these characters in the first episode, with Jonah being the most outright awful. But by episode 8, you see that he's the only remotely decent one.

Rodney is one of my favorite parts of Summer Heights High. Especially that look on his face when Mr. G blames him for killing Celine during the musical. Brilliant!

Summer Heights High is definitely my favorite Lilley series, though We Can Be Heroes is a close second. From what I've heard, SHH is his most popular series in the US. I think playing 3 characters in a series was the perfect balance and I really got a sense of character development. I watched the first episode of

Thanks!
