England is by far my favorite song from High Violet, and has been since the first listen. Just so good.

I'm not totally in love with this album (though it has grown on me the more I've listened).

I've been a subscriber to the Never Not Funny podcast for years, and that is a model I can really support. The guys put out a 90+ minute podcast with great and varied guest stars once a week. I pay $25 dollars for 26 audio + video episodes (not including bonus live episodes). I've even paid to see a podcast taping…

That scene was awful and just painfully awkward right up until we hear Mike off camera. Perfection!

I'm usually bored to tears by Melisandre yabbering about the Lord of Light but that scene was just electrifying.

The thing that got me was…Kahn wasn't directly responsible for Kirk going into the engine room (or wherever he was). Like, yes, the Enterprise's issues were basically Kahn's fault, but he didn't kill Kirk with his own hands. So that VERY dramatic "KAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHNN" made me go, "Hmm…"

I didn't love it, but they pulled it off better than I expected. Hannibal is in great shape. I wish we got to see him at the gym at some point. Hannibal in sweatpants…how awesome would that be??

That shot of Sansa sobbing as Petyr's ship sailed away broke my damn heart. She's such a pawn and can do nothing about it. Poor girl.
