“Your point” is nothing but equivocating, rationalizing bullshit attempting to justify bad behavior because you yourself have been a party to it by your own admission.

So he worked through his lunch break, at 9:30 in the morning? You shouldn’t use people’s cars to run errands. Normally, the dealers have drivers/loaner vehicles to make lunch runs and stuff. Eating in people’s cars is bad. Speeding in people’s cars while testing the air conditioning, also bad. Maybe techs do it. That

Actually, it is NOT normal to take a car for a test drive to test the AC. Usually, to test if an AC is cooling properly, the AC is tested while idling as that is the most stressful situation for a car AC system. Also, all cars have fans that pull air over the AC condenser so that the AC cools even when you are

If it’s a tech trying to diagnose an idling issue or a porter taking your car through an automatic carwash, I don’t understand the outrage.

Why would you need to drive the car to test how the condenser is working? It is least efficient at idle. THAT’S where you need to test whether it’s cooling the vehicle. Bullshit excuse.

Wow you really are a fucking moron. Did you really think nobody was going to spot this shitposting strawman and call it out for what it is?

I agree on the test drive, but running errands and/or putting food and drinks in my car is a big fat no.

I suppose it’s also okay when a porter pulls the car around for customer pick-up and when the customer enters their own car, the stereo volume is turned up to an obnoxious (potentially speaker-damaging) volume on some shitty pop station that the customer would never listen to? You’re goddamn right it’s not okay.

“Why he tensed up and started acting like a shit head and not being open and honest I do not know.”

A lot of these test drives are caught on dash-cams. I assume at least 1 Impala owner has a dash-cam. But the point remains the same - it’s my car, not the tech’s. In my personal vehicle I allows drinks but no food (unless double bagged) due to some grease incidents. It’s not the techs job to sit his fucking In n Out

You’re an idiot and an apologist. I dropped my car off for repairs to the windows (an anchor got dislodged and it wouldn’t roll all the way up). After two additional days and a “we thought you picked it up” excuse, my car had 13 additional miles. You don’t drive 13 miles to test the window.

It absolutely is outrageous. Your self serving shit-shoveling doesn’t magically change that because you’re a big enough asshole to think it’s ok to abuse people’s property.

And you wonder why the general public regards you all as dishonest pieces of shit.

Fuck you and your apologist bullshit. If he’s being made to work through his lunch hour, that’s between him and his employer (and possibly the attorney general or labor department of his state since it’s probably a violation of at least one law)

“but really, it’s the opposite of a “joyride” that the owner thinks they “caught” the employee doing.”

Guys, c’mon. We stopped stoning Christians to death centuries ago.

But how many were T8 Excellence? If those were selling like hotcakes, why would there be a $23k discount? I never doubted that the XC90 sells.

I didn’t realize that I had to explicitly call out that I meant SPECIFICALLY AND ONLY THE “XC90 T8 EXCELLENCE WITH A PRICE OF $100k+ THAT WAS REFERENCED IN THE ABOVE ARTICLE;

People are always shocked by cheap rich people, but you don’t get to have a lot of money by giving it all away all the time. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Why is Jalopnik paying attention to this nitwit?

One of the few fatal mistakes you can make is to confuse a puffball with a young Amanita. Yes you need to cut it open but you also need to know what to look for.
