The Japanese seems pretty simple going from screen shots, would you say its not advanced Japanese?

I’ll check that article out. Ive always found the 3ds’ kanji difficult to read due to the crappy screen resolution. That’s why the vita is my handheld of choice, despite the lack of games that support furigana.

Ok thanks for the heads up. Have you considered doing an article on the best Japan-only games to start with for people learning Japanese? Maybe the top 3 or so games per platform? The vita for example has heaps of games. Just an idea.
