It would have said "thousands."

At this very moment, it was four years, three months, fourteen days and twelve hours since Pushing Daisies started to push up daisies. But though long dead, it was not long forgotten. And on computer screens across the land, loyal fans were reminded of the Pie Maker, Emerson Cod, Olive Snook, and a girl named Chuck,…
That's too bad. I rather enjoy the show on re-watch. And I would never call the show "mediocre," though I kind of understand where you're coming from especially on the 4th season. But the first arc of the show, including season 1 and the first quarter of season 2? That was one dynamite program.
For all the hate that Lost S3 gets, I really disliked season 2. I remember getting so frustrated with the first three episodes not really moving the plot along hardly at all, and then the show (much like FNL) just being so much worse than the first season. I quit the show for years after "Fire + Water."
You know, I really like a lot of the 5th season, but I too felt that it was a step down in quality. I was impressed with how well they wrote Spike, especially considering how little I liked the character in late-season Buffy, but he wasn't a real necessary addition to the show. I actually didn't like Illyria, or…
"Bad" is too general a word. There was far too much silly monster-of-the-weeking, and if you compare it to later seasons when the quality jumped majorly, yeah it's going to suffer.
Has he softened towards Rachel Ray? The last time I remember him referring to her was calling her out on not tipping waitresses to get by on her 40$/day or whatever budget.

An open letter to SyFy:
If you weren't in love with Watts in Some Kind of Wonderful, I don't really want to know you. That goes for the ladies, as well.
I swear, the thing I'm most afraid of is Josie sinking the otherwise strong female team, and the awesome Kristin being sent home because she's the leader of that kitchen. I can't be the only one who thinks there's an outside chance of that happening, can I?
Worf'll be in his bunk.
It's been a while since I saw Babel, but I remember that the only plot line which didn't leave me cold was the one in Japan. Didn't care much for Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett's problems, and didn't think the direction did many favors to the stories' convolution. But yeah that Japanese storyline was outstanding.
