I’m glad they got rid of the skunk. I heard he stinks anyway

I would argue that flash has ALWAYS had the Ruby Slippers..
Jon Cryer’s real super power...just hanging around after the welcome is gone. Think of 2 1/2 Men
Wait..I just saw him in a Dodge ad. Freaky
Alternate take.... He was pissed that his part was cut down and then “ remembered “ how badly he was treated on set.
I really enjoyed the bluntness of Supes telling Gen. Lane that he doesn’t work for him. We need more direct dialog like that.
it was more of Supes not wanting collateral damage. Once he got the call from his son, it was more expedient to knock the other citizens out at the same time.
and Gwen Verdon in Fosse/Verdon
it also had the best use of Vasquez Rocks as a location since the classic Trek episode it directly referenced moments earlier!
fourth wall breaks inside of fourth wall breaks... love it
can we do something about the color draining filter they use in the Kent farmhouse? Hell, all of Smallville looks like the first thing that left home was the color. I get the “warm, sepia, small town vibe” without looking like they had a visit from Zack Snyder
thank you Gate Keeper.. any word from the Key Master?
could you give me an answer that doesn’t rely on first year criticism cliches?
that would eliminate a whole genre of sports biopics where the great athlete suffers an injury and has to cope with the life change. Are those stories not worth telling?
I don’t remeber them specifically, but they’d most likely be in the fantasy sequences and therefore easily fast forwarded thru without really compromising the narrative
No insult or insensitivity intended, but I had a couple of thoughts after seeing the film and this seems to be a proper place to express them.
Doesn't change a thing. You can't introduce a character, then claim that that character has anything unearned. Its lazy criticism. You can say something came out of nowhere only after you know the parameters. Every plot point the author references happen in the first 3 episodes. Barely scratching the surface.
I just love how you go to this year’s favorite criticism cliche of “unearned emotion” -really I nominate it for the”fridged” award for lazy critique.
Star Wars and Bond films were made in England. Were they foreign films?
Is any film shot in a language other than english a foreign film? Even if it was filmed in Cleveland?
which feeds my pet theory that “they” are drawing from the kind of shows Wanda would have seen as a child in Sokovia as their templates for “normality”
i believe it was set in the far off time of 2024
