not going down that rabbit hole...:)

Does this make “Alan Cumming” a noun or a verb?
and what about Quiet Riot’s “Cum on, Feel the Noize?”

Trek has never done repercussions. there was always a cop-out for Kirk - T’pau pulling strings, or Talosians pulling strings for Spock or giving Spock an inner eyelid. etc..
To pretend Discovery is any different is just bias

maybe the closure she refers to is the Steve Trevor chapter where she can stop pine-ing (see what I did there) for Steve and move on...

No aggression intended (well maybe a smidge of smart assed-ness) .

that was a very thoughful response, thank you.

Micheal’s mutiny wasn’t born out of sloppy emotions. she was operating on what she learned being raised by Sarek and watching the Vulcans deal with the Klingons. (the Vulcan Hello) it’s right there in the title.

for a character who’s basically just the right side of his face, completely replaceable.
just ask Robocop

the real shame is that both Jodie and Capaldi are much better than the material they were given to work with.

Trying to have it both ways?

they didn’t know she’d been arrested. that happened when she was alone

people throw around that term “world building” like it means something. I guess it’s more important in a sci-fi setting to know what the rules of the road are, but it occurs to me that most folks remember TOS with rose colored glasses. That’s because we’ve had 50+ years to fill in backstories (mostly non canon).

a bit heavy for a kid’s show

well thanks for stopping by to tell us how superior you are. Somewhere there is a bridge missing it’s troll

Sorry Zach, got lost in the reply chain. That comment should have been directed at jccalhoun.

That quote also shows that jccalhoun just refuses to pay attention. Adira is not a trill. There was a whole episode about it.

Fisher refuses to work for WB...
Oddly enough, the Earth continues to rotate.

Here’s a perspective I hadn’t given a lot of thought to until I heard it

UH,,, the museum worker Diana knows where the vintage planes are stored. she took him there specifically. where’s the mystery?

really? You couldn’t sense the central theme? It was right there in the flashback and reinforced like a million times thruout the film.
