I’ve thought about that, too. Remember that no matter how good the person, they’re STILL not getting into the good place. That’s the whole setup of the series. I’d imagine in a “fair” system, Chidi would have qualified as his only original sin seems to have been that he was indecisive.

Here’s a thought...I’m thinking that the reason the writers set up the old lady switcheroo by Shawn and had it exposed so quickly was that so they could have the Judge come in and say “no more outside tricks or meddling”. This was done so viewers could sit back and enjoy the show without constantly studying every…
