Honestly, for me, it kind of was. It was episode 300, where Homer was battling Tony Hawk in midair with a skateboard that hovered. Tony Hawk was also able to hover, despite using a regular skateboard. It wasn't the lack of physics that bothered me, but rather the sheer stupidity of what I was watching, in general.
