Oh, I see that some streets have temperatures for their names.

Had a nest of yellow jackets somewhere on my house, and the buggers would occasionally find their way in and chill out in my bedroom. I’d try to let them out the windows or squash the few stragglers, but a lot of times I didn’t bother. I had heard yellow jackets are supposed to super aggressive, but they honestly left…
2 Imperial cruisers and an Interdictor full of crew murdered at the same time. That’s damn efficient.
Pretty sure those aren’t bulldozers. We always called them front end loaders growing up.
Wasn’t this already posted on gawker last week?
Had a VHS tape of these cartoons as a kid. Loved them, and I catch myself humming the theme from time to time.
Oh, there are films that my daughter liked when she was younger, but the scary parts get to her now. For example, she loved Coraline when she was like 4, watched it over and over. But when she was 6 or so, she got too scared to get through it, and now she won’t touch it.
Heh, no worries. This was only a year and half ago, and I’d seen it before, so it wasn’t unexpected.
Tried to watch Spirited Away with my daughter when she was 7 and we had to leave the theater. She was terrified. Your results may vary.

I was lucky enough to spy one flying overhead last summer, I guess practicing for the upcoming airshow. My joy was not mirrored in the random stranger in the grocery store parking lot to whom I began babbling incoherently. A lot like yesterday when a random F-18 treated me to a low pass over my daughter’s school bus…
My theory: Sabine Wren from Rebels is Obi-Wan’s daughter that he never knew about (her mother, Satine Kryze, was killed when the Empire conquered Mandalore during the Clone Wars). Sabine and Ezra Bridger get together after the destruction of the 2nd Death Star and whatever continuing battles went on after, eventually…
This list lacks Pro Stars.
We actually weren’t hit with the blizzard in Buffalo. That said, if there existed anywhere the motivation to work together to pile up enough snow to make it happen, then it is the city of good neighbors.
I hope you’ve seen the sequel:
Psh. Still not better than Shine On Me. Had some Evil Dead references though, so that’s something.
These monsters sound awesome. My one hesitation with pulling out all the stops in something like “Bestiary 5” is how much complexity is added. Sure, fluctuating resistances sounds cool, but, at that level, how many other things am I tracking for how many other monsters? Sweet effects and powers are sweet unless I…
I have her autobiography on my “To-Read” list. Really looking forward to it.
