The wall is going to cost billions of dollars and wont work. There are also republicans proposing that prisoners be forced to work on the wall for free. So, slavery.

It’s not great for animal populations. The wall would go through regions that straddle the border, meaning animals will arbitrarily be stuck on one side, reducing their ability to move around and find food.
