You think the dress makes the woman? Oh, you poor thing.
Sorry I don’t follow the “careers” of trophy wives. Try coming at me with something she’s actually accomplished. The fake architecture degree doesn’t count.
“Government getting smaller is objectively good!” they believe, not realizing that the overwhelming majority of “government” consists of hard-working, middle-class, 5-figure earners who legitimately work hard at their jobs and do good things for the country.
But... but... it’s Iran! They’re Evil!!! We can’t trust them!!! I know this, don’t ask how, it’s a gut feeling.
Matthew 6:24 applies as well:
We’re talking about Trump right now. Try to keep up
I would say we have a much larger economic interdependency with China. Russia could literally invade Ukraine, we could send troops or at least weaponry to help fend them off, and for the most part business external to that would be disrupted a lot less than if the same thing happened in the pacific and China say…
I get what you’re saying but that method of conflict resolution doesn’t necessarily work with an unrepentant sociopath, which, judging by the mysterious deaths of his political opponents and Russia’s geopolitical actions, Putin absolutely is.
Prosperity Gospel assholes are the worst. The. Worst.
My favorite part of that is the part where she’s not actually moving there.
China is more in line with US interests than most people want to believe. The Communist government (I use that term loosely) is concerned about maintaining legitimacy from the eyes of its people. Economic growth is as important for them as national security. As for Taiwan, the old school KMT party still thinks it is…

Or, they start their own non-profits that exist for their own ego and not the work they claim to do, thereby taking money from the non-profits that know how to do the work, or their give their money…
Exactly. The whole “private charity” will pick up the “slack” thing is a canard. Not that private/church charities aren’t important but they cannot take the place of the government doing its job.
What I see happening is Democrats will end up donating to these programs and they will get funded and they will go on. And my tiny black heart says only Democrats should be able to use them. I’m just angry right now, I probably don’t really feel that way.
THESE PEOPLE. You know what I want to say to them?
I recently met a man who was born in 1981.
I have a couple of family members who live in the DC/MD/VA area and got their tickets last week. They’re just THRILLED! Now today, they were kind enough to post a (copied) statement on FB that we should all go on with our lives and not judge others for whom they voted and if you do, you’re a horrible person. (This…
Wait for the photos/news coverage on a channel not covering it. NOTHING will sting Trump more than low ratings- it’s all he cares about. And then we can all tweet him about how much higher Obama’s ratings were- ala Trump himself to Schwarzenegger.
