I had a “sleep over” birthday party for my 7 year old and invited every girl in the class because we didnt want anyone to feel excluded. One of the parents called me and asked if they could also drop off their 3 year old as well because “she hadnt had a night to herself in forever”.

I always thought the underlying message here was that women should be content with a less than idea partner, that no matter how beastly the man is, they should look for his better qualities. Because it is beholden on the woman to look beyond appearances and be satisfied with any man who is willing to show them…

Well you cant plan everything. We had a wonderful empty nest at age 48. Freedom, more money, quieter house, and sex whenever and with the door OPEN.
