Well they turned down the offer, so this wasn’t a matter of someone thinking they were unqualified. The article doesn’t mention how many male applicants are also out of the running

What about that guy from the Facebook movie?

It’s a terrible movie, but I love Season of the Witch. Such an absurd and convoluted plot. And no happy ending FTW!!

The transbay tube connecting BART from Oakland to San Francisco sits under the bay and has been just fine since 1969. If it’s done right, no issue

This came out a lot better in my head. But then I remembered I can barely use photoshop. Regardless...

Wait... you’re not serious are you?

There’s nothing racist there. The fact that your mind went in that direction is something you might want to look into though.

Sounds like you need a new sushi restaurant.

Yes and no. ISPs are losing TV service subscribers to streaming services, no question about it. But ISPs need streaming services in order to build the value of their higher speed internet offerings. And obviously, steaming providers need ISPs to actually make their services work. There’s a symbiotic relationship

I’m not following how competition in the streaming world impacts ISPs. If Netflix loses market share to Amazon, how is Spectrum impacted?

Great argument, dipshit. Game, set, and match

My reading comprehension is just fine. Assuming racism because someone used a term that is “code” for racism sometimes but not always is absurd. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

None of this makes me feel good. I just find that people who assume everything is racist are the absolute worst people in the world, and they do more to perpetuate racism than anyone else. So yes, you’re disgusting. Cut the racism, it’s not welcome here.

I was born into both. Not making minimum wage today. How did this happen??

Or there aren’t enough applicants. I was a hiring manager from 2012-2015, and I posted FT jobs paying anywhere from $17/hr to $60k/year, and would often get one to two applicants at most. The jobs are out there, but people need the training to be (and feel that they are) qualified for the jobs

I lived on minimum wage for 5 years, though I lived with my parents at the time.

I bet it wasn’t. But it says a lot about you that that was the first place your mind went. You’re disgusting

Not having marketable skills is a choice. I dropped out of high school at 16 and got a minimum wage job at Home Depot. I worked hard, got promoted, continued to work hard and get promoted, and now I have a 6 figure salary.

Everyone’s job is safe as long as Casey Chan is around. It’s easy to fly under the suckiness radar when Casey continues to post his “Watching This Random Guy Make Soap Out Of Old Pig Carcasses Is Insanely Crazy” articles.

And you likely won’t have that same feeling for any newer song. Remove the chase->remove a lot of the emotion
