Same. I for one welcome Clooney now technically being the Batman of the current DC universe if only to screw with people. I’m sure they’ll get someone else soon, but I’ll enjoy it for now.

Spoilers obviously:
Ironically that rando is actually Teddy Sears who played Professor Zoom and a version of Jay Garrick in The Flash .
Got to see the movie a week early and supposedly our show was the first audience (locally) to see the surprise ending.
(Warning - heavy spoilers throughout)
I really liked the movie, goofy CGI and all. There, I said it. No shortage of hate for this movie online, but I enjoyed it.
This is why online games really should include an option for player run servers from the start. That way the game can still be played decades from now, long after the official servers are taken down.
Kudos to Linus for having the maturity and humility to make this move. This right here is why a ton of game studios and tech companies crash and burn or end up with super toxic work cultures, because the founders were coders or designers or artists—people who don’t necessarily have the skillset, temperament, or actual…
Makes perfect sense. Most small companies creators don’t have the skill necessary to run a company with 100+ employees. I’m glad he sees this and is just stepping away from all the admin BS and focusing on content creation.

And if he did hold direct power over them do those women hold any accountability for almost assuredly pursuing the relationship because of what he could do for them and not because they genuinely cared for him…
she was an easy and vulnerable target coming from a broken home and was confused about her sexuality
If ‘manipulation’ is the precedent for ‘grooming’ then every woman I’ve ever met has groomed me.
This was an abuse of power and gross misconduct, but this was not grooming. Everyone involved was an adult at the time. Grooming, by definition, is something an adult does to a minor. Stop infantalizing yourselves.
So because she wanted to focus on misogyny and made an imperfect video that didn’t cover all the nuance, she sucks? And what about my many other points?
This seems...flimsy. The article you’ve now linked to twice posits the following:
SuperWhoLock was mostly just... hugely cringe inducing. It was awkward and weird and mostly filled with nerdy young girls bolstering each other’s most cringe inducing habits and tastes. But fandom was different in those days.
Or at least, ‘fandom that’s inherently insular breeds toxicity the way that a physical community that’s inherently insular breeds xenophobia’.
