This is the argument of an incredibly privileged person who has never studied international politics and has no idea what actual election rigging looks like, never mind having to live with the consequences.

What is incomprehensible is the total inability for Jezebel to understand that there are many voters, in many parts of the country, that find a platform like Klobuchar’s quite appealing.

I am a white college educated suburban-dwelling Minnesota woman who supported Klobuchar from the day she announced her candidacy. I have some thoughts on your article. First, it was not cold in Minnesota on Super Tuesday — it was 43. Practically balmy for winter here.

“unintentionally erasing voters who are less motivated by revolutions or big structural change.” I think the voters are just erased by circumstances of life. I’m pretty good with big structural change and our household has been donating to Warren weekly for months. But I’m in my late 30s, college educated, suburban

Here's the thing, if Bernie’s ability to inspire people to the polls was electorally decisive shouldn't it be carrying him to victory in the primary?

She’s not saying “the right thing” now.

Not just taught to expect nothing, but conditioned for it.

I was thinking on my way to work today that the Weinstein case ended sort of how we wanted, but will the new narrative be “Now that MeToo has been solved...”

One of the main reasons victims of abuse don’t leave is not some psychological prison but because of the very real fact that violence escalates when they leave or press charges. Most women murdered by intimate partners are murdered immediately following them ending the relationship. It’s not just up to her to leave,

I think the dirt on him will bury him too, but trump with all his baggage was still able to win, so who knows. Also, I don’t think Biden, Pete, or Amy could beat trump. I don’t see anyone left in the race beating trump.

The other thing Romney’s vote does is to give the impeachment added historical weight as the only instance of a senator voting to convict a president of his own party during an impeachment vote. Trump is forever stained.

Do I like Mitt, or agree with most of his positions? No.

She does speak some truth though. He was a johnny come lately to the Democratic party, just to self servicingly win the presidency, who then complained that he wasn’t treated like a long standing member. His tepid endorsement of Hilary followed by his bros spouting “Never Hillary nonsense certainly didn’t help her

I genuinely fear for the outcome of the election if Biden is the nominee and find the manufactured electability narrative which surrounds him frighteningly out of touch with the political moment. I hope this endorsement means that the old guard is waking up to the fact that name recognition alone does not a good

I seem to recall in 2016 there were reports of Sanders being a mean boss.

I strongly disagree (and according to the internet am the only one who does).

Very well said, unfortunately according to some people you either have to be 100% on the right or left of every issue or you are perceived to be a fraud.

I’m no right-winger, but I think this is a much more complex issue than has been perpetuated. Conservatives aren’t the only ones protesting this issue, though their (underlying, prejudicial) reasoning is certainly unique.

It needs to be an app so that you have to submit your info to a third party, who can then turn around and get rich selling the anonymized data for marketing and advertising purposes, obviously.

The sheer number of #notallmen apologists I’ve seen on other threads, whining about “so what, now we can’t even talk to women?” or publicly patting themselves on the back for not being murderers and rapists makes me want to give up on humanity altogether. They don’t get it, they never will, and worst of all, very few
