Agreed - part of the issue is learning how to customize these features. The “Audi active lane assist” in my 2017 A4 works fairly well at high speeds on long, dull freeway drives - when set on “late” it doesn’t intervene until the car is about to cross the lane marker, but otherwise runs in the background.
