Legends Of Tomorrow is one of the best shows on television. It also once featured a season-long storyline with a character getting his nipple bitten off by a unicorn, then later having his nipple restored but possessed by a demon from the time it spent in hell, and then using the possessed nipple to hypnotize people

Counterpoint: this douchey show sucked and his using the term PC invalidates his opinion

Whatever the hell it wants, really.

Goodness.

Meanwhile, Batwoman took six weeks to recover from a Kryptonite(!) bullet, Supergirl is still in the Phantom Zone, and Barry...I honestly couldn’t even tell you what he’s doing. I just don’t care any more. Just give me the Legends.

Oh. My. Beebo.

Damn I love this show.

15 weeks of LoT is all I need.

Rewatching the most recent season has helped too

To be fair, Legends series one was absolutely awful. It found its stride pretty quickly after that and really embraced the goofy side of comics, yet was still able to be serious. It manages that way better than the Flash and is consistently my favorite Arrowverse show, though I’m still exceptionally bitter about

She stopped being “100% in the right” when she murdered people she’d not only beaten who but were tied up!

In the last episode, when everyone was disguised and scheming in Madripoor, Sam openly and honestly appeals to Sharon’s better nature despite having nothing definite to offer her. We also see he’s not good at subterfuge.

I think fisher lays it out pretty well, why are the zods black then? Also it’s one of those shows where it was never part of the movie continuity and I’m aware it took lots of liberties with the lore already, it’s just that race is always something people don’t want to change for their hundreds of white guy

Maybe the Snyder Cut and Joss Whedon were bad ideas for the DC Universe.

This is hitting all the right notes and I could see it starting zany but having some very moving moments in it. WandaVision had me crying and those characters didn’t have NEARLY the development that Loki (even this iteration of him) does.

I’m super pumped for this. I’ve probably been enjoying F&WS more than most

How is MacGuyver going to get out of this one?

Jesus, two years later and I’m never going to stop feeling vicariously embarrassed by people calling Captain Marvel’s 90 seconds of air force content that’s entirely about how they’re a bunch of misogynist pricks ‘military propaganda’.

the fact that we have to leave comments about noping out instead of just fucking noping out is everything that’s wrong with everything

Also, I was super happy to see Ayo pop-up at the end.

That doesn’t really track. A Wrinkle in Time came out March 2018; a week after it came out (when it was already tracking to do poorly), they announced DuVernay was directing New Gods. A year later, they announced King was writing it. For “because AWIT tanked” to be the reason they’re pulling it now, 3 years later,
