yeah this is a good point. Maybe a lot of BBT viewers don't mind watching repeats? they might find it predictable but appetizing. i'm with you though, there is something larger going on here, I think the hiatus was very helpful.

well other than the 'why don't you like this?' feature, it's been a fun past month ever since the return was announced. The paleyfest, the epic trailer, all the interviews and info that's been coming out, the syndication deal, the new episode, and now the awesome ratings!

yeah, plus with Grizz from 30 rock tweeting out they had been renewed, I suspect some 30 rock people were told they were renewed already.

yeah, the fact that The Office and UAN didn't really have the same boost makes me think the most direct correlation is with the no BBT factor. I want to believe the promotion and just the fact that more people watch the show now made a huge difference too but that remains to be seen.
