Yes. One of the great things about this reboot is that they're not screwing around with the original show's basic aesthetic — they know perfectly well it was cool the first time around and they're not messing with it.

I honestly can't think of an '80s film I genuinely like. Even at the time they were first released, most of these films felt sort of empty to me — they weren't so much fun as "fun." And very few of them have aged well.
