circa 1980... there is a big difference between gen X and the daycare generation (1980ish and beyond).... we gen X peeps were raised at home by parents, people after us were warehoused, thusly creating a generation of a new breed of thinking... there are good and bad qualities associated with the kids stuck in daycare…

it’s def about hard work and you illustrate (in your post) EXACTLY what gen X is griping about... gen y/millenials whine and give up, all while trying to avoid hard work... think about it from another perspective... nobody here is “right”, we are simply all forming opinions based on perceptions...
