I don't like that they couldn't draw out the sex dream plot just a little bit longer than like five minutes. What's wrong with a little prolonged angst mixed in with the comedy? They could have easily not actually revealed it to Nick and the episode still could have proceeded the same way, and either revealed at the

Agreed. He'd have like twenty other options at any given time. He's SAF. But he just doesn't seemed deranged enough to be putting up with this kind of crazy.

Yeah I mean I don't mind them together. I personally enjoyed those episodes. But I am also not in the camp of people who think that the show was bad when they were a couple.

Yes exactly about Nick! His grumpy thing is great. And Jess's optimism has a more effective and funny outlet opposite him that way.

I enjoy each character at different times for different reasons. However I cannot stand the scenes with just Nick and Cece. Awkward and not in a funny way.

I LOVED their romance. But I haven't seen any of the show since she got pregnant.

There's not enough main characters to put their relationship on the sidelines on a regular basis.

I think he totally still wants Jess. He could have easily made a hookup with Reagan actually happen and he didn't. First of all, if he wants to hook up with a girl he does. Secondly Reagan was throwing herself at him at the slightest hint that it might work.

He never suggested Jess's room. Reagan asked him which room and then he got spooked, presumably because of that concept.

He wasn't trying that. Reagan asked him which room, at which point he back-peddled on hooking up with her.

The writing is definitely holding them both back. Right now she's a mom character and Nick is a child. No one wants to see that.

I think this show has a bunch of hurdles these days, such as: characters progressing to keep up with their ages while not becoming "boring", the main character being absent for half a season, a compressed season, figuring out how to create new stakes as compelling as a highly successful, well-written and acted

Jess may not have progressed but they've completely regressed the Nick character.

Based on how this season has gone, I don't see any indications of the rest being epic.

I knew they wouldn't because Nick was sick and you know characters on TV can barely handle existing while they are sick. *eyeroll*

Yeah I thought for sure they were headed for connecting these two stories involving chairs.

But their stories have no stakes and don't carry the show.

What happened to my show?? :( OMG, not only is it not funny, it's painful. I don't even care that Nick said all that nice stuff about him and Jess. It was not worth the other 29 minutes.

Slightly better than last week's no stakes storylines but still didn't measure up to their best work IMO.

That line is going down as one of my all time favorites. And he played it like he can't believe he is going to say it even as he is saying it.
