I think if anything finally gets him, it'll be that. He'll be in a situation where he can tell the truth and look bad or tell an obvious lie which (in his mind at least) will make him look good. Or perhaps he might even tell the truth because the lie would make him look bad in some stupid way, like when he demolished

There was a brief gimmick account here, purporting to be the penis of one of the regular contributors, and I'm pretty sure it made more sense than most of Trump's tweets.

Well, he said he would, so he won't.

*yells at cloud*

Or, the same amount of mayonaise, but kind of weird looking.

I want to add 'The AV Club', but it's kind of redundant.

Agreed! If she tells the truth, they're both going to feel bad.

Yep, that's definitely a relationship that's better ended. She should delete the video before she dumps him, though.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about it. It kind of depends how you do it, I think. If it implies that being gay / being fucked by a man is bad, then it is reinforcing homophobia. If it's something that would only bother a homophobe - like being made an ironic gay icon - it's probably okay.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. I enjoyed it overall, and I thought the Pasha / Tuan storyline was really good, but overall it's probably the weakest season since s 2 (which would have been fine if they hadn't had the stupid ending). There were definitely too many things that didn't go anywhere - I'll add

Well if you think a character nearly dying a fairly gruesome death is boring, I don't know what to say to you.

You're entitled to your opinion, but you have to remember that it is just your opinion. This season wasn't inherently boring any more than it was inherently interesting. You think it was boring, I think it was interesting. And that's fine. You're just going to have to explain your opinion in ways other than 'nothing

I'd argue it only does that if the one thing is clearly worse than the other. Like, when people call some politician a Nazi for doing something they don't like, that diminishes the term Nazi because whatever that politician is doing is probably nowhere near as bad as anything the Nazis did. But calling non-racial

Ooh, good call!

Young people today, mutter mutter.

We don't know that it's going to make her change her mind. I took it to be 'I'm going to miss having a dishwasher and reliable electricity."

Hang on, are you arguing that anti ethnic bigotry is inherently less bad than racism? I agree that a lot of what is called racism is actually another form of bigotry, but I don't see how the misuse of the term diminishes the impact of actual racism.

You mean other than the Pasha storyline being resolved, the Stan's girlfriend plot deepening, the continuation of the Jenningses plan to go back to Russia, Martha's happy ending, and the thing with Kimmy's dad?

Lots of stuff happened. In this episode:
- Pasha nearly died;
- Pasha's mom decided to take him back to Russia;
- Philip and Elizabeth tried and failed to get the Centre to keep Pasha's family together;
- Tuan and the Jenningses had a big falling out and Elizabeth showed how vital her relationship with Philip is;
- Tuan

She didn't respond like that, though. She tried to show an interest. It probably came across as condescending, but she tried. Her conversational abilities might be more of an issue than her taste in literature.
I do know what you mean about being asked about favourite books. I don't think I have a favourite book, just
