We just recently got a Bolt EV, and one of the selling points for me was that between the cells, the battery walls are a little thicker than Tesla’s. There’s a tradeoff of not packing as much energy into the same space, so you get less range, but you get the added benefit of one cell can’t ignite the others should one…

I think there has been a car with a sunroof in my family my entire life, so the experience of them isn’t something of which I am entirely divorced. And the sunroofs of today are a completely different thing than the sunroofs on the 50 year old cars I like to wrench on.
