It’s not a sexist conspiracy. It’s because you can always put more clothes on, like a light sweater or pashmina, but you can only take so much off. A lot of people have to wear suits all day which are hot as FUCK, that’s why office buildings are kept cold. I would much rather be in a slightly too cold room and keep a

I believe it.

Kids was a bit before my time, what inspired me to get the test every 6 months was when my former bf unearthed a few repressed/blacked out memories of one of his sketchy male friends sexually assaulting him. We both vowed to keep getting tested for five years, relationship intact or no, after he stopped throwing up

Woman of color. A lot of Asians are seen as “model minorities” by the west, especially pale-skinned Asians, so all I’m calling for is consistency in reporting here. It seems like Asian women are only referenced as WOC when it’s convenient for the reporter to demonstrate a flawed point about race.

It was passive aggression at its best. OF COURSE IT WAS DIRECTED AT TAYLOR. She mistakenly took the bait, and even by doing so in the nicest way possible, gave Nicki fuel for her straw man fire by acting like “ohhhh I don’t understand why you think that was about you”. I like Nicki Minaj, but she was clearly jealous

That’s true of any vegan outerwear, though. Besides, it’s not like a repeated buy thing — a good faux fur coat, or any coat, should last you a minimum of five years.

it’s just Old Spice, he’s been huffing again

oh. my. god. heads would be flying if I had to sit next to that.

.....I really hope your manager tossed her out the door with a footnote that if she ever damaged business property again, authorities would be called. It’s bullshit, but a parent stupid enough to think organizing blocks is stifling creativity would buy it.

I totally agree, asking the parents to leave or having the GM speak to them on behalf of other customers is acceptable if they won’t control their child. But the way she handled it over FB with all that cursing and misspelled words was painful to read and made her come off as that much more hardened and bitter.

The owner was not cursing at the child or being verbally abusive. She said what the parents should have said from the start, which is “THIS NEEDS TO STOP”. She could have gone without the online tirade, but those parents were guilty of the classic faux pas of assuming because they can tune their screeching, unattended

Clearly you did not get the sarcastic tone of my post, or read any followups where I clarified that.

That’s why the educated consumer knows how to read labels. Scientists aren’t jamming mascara wands into my eyes or rubbing lotion into the intentionally burned skin of our children. I’m not sure if you’re playing devil’s advocate or you really don’t understand what huge strides have been made in the industry, and how

The EU has banned animal testing for a few years now, and since most companies want to be able to sell their products through international vendors, most companies have stopped testing cosmetics. I remember Urban Decay being kind of the case a lot of us were looking at when they started selling in China, like would

I think it was/is but because a lot of the companies they want to import makeup from refuse to test, the law isn’t ironclad. I would stay away from products manufactured in China, though.

That looks a lot like my cat, only gold instead of blue eyes:

GOOD. Animal testing for cosmetics is dated, cruel, and not all that reliable compared to alternatives we have now.
