Nailed it. The clues that this is what the movie is about are spoon fed to the audience from the very first scene until the end.

He’s not an irritating jerk. He is fearless and funny without coming off as an angry old man who has tripped over too many Millenials who can’t look up from the iPHones. He is incredibly funny and far more insightful than Louis CK has ever been.

There’s a way to say, “You aren’t an expert just because you experienced a tragedy and you don’t get to tell me what words I should use” and be funny about it. Louis clearly didn’t do it here.
