I truly believe no one will be worse off financially.... unless they get sick. Then screw that person. I shouldn’t have to pay for their health care.

I saw an article recently where a woman said vaccines and any other medical treatment was against her religion. If you got sick, it was God’s plan. Whether or not you got better was up to God and not medical intervention. How long until that’s part of the GOP platform.

These threats to Jewish Community Centers are starting to more than concern me. I feel like all the hate should be top priority. A good president should be having a press conference to comfort and encourage their people, should be taking immediate action to find those responsible and hold them accountable.

I agree that I think our media has lost it’s backbone a bit. But I think the media in some other countries might make up for that a little bit. Trump can complain about the national media, but he has limited influence over the global media.

I’m realizing more and more that using laws as way to deter illegal behavior is misguided. It’s more likely the law will be used purely as punishment since desperate people will take the risk. If you actually want to end an activity,illegal or otherwise , you have the address the cause.

Why does no one teach this basic rule? I never new this until I was 25ish and I think I learned it from a sitcom. Pee after sex and don’t have sex right away after you pee. No matter how much he wants to cuddle and fall asleep instantly.

I’ve been having the same thoughts, though I still fear that it will be obvious I called in sick on this particular day for the strike.

I’m happy that Illinois has a law on the books so that birth control is 100% covered by insurance regardless of what happens to the ACA. Getting an IUD ended up not being the right choice for me and what ended up being the right choice is not cheap if I had to pay out of pocket.

But all that just makes me more afraid…
