*5 Things I Hate About My C8

I know youre going to get this question for every $100K+ (mid , rear, front, engine).. sports car to come down the pike in the next 18 months...Besides the manual and the availability?... why would one pay $40k more over a C8?..

The early C3's with the thin chrome bumper will always be my favorite Vettes. They were an iconic, beautiful design that didn’t look like anything else at the time:

I thought that too until I saw one post C8 reveal the other night (photo below).

Probably a little more hardcore than people thought they wanted, and when it came down to the reality of them they realized they wanted the looks more than the reality

I think we’ve broken the website... But for this Gen Xer, it has to be dark green with brown leather. Like this, but a C8:

What a weird argument to make. The C8 is something that every Jalop should be celebrating, regardless of your brand loyalty

That is a funny looking Miata.

So many vibrant 70's colors to choose from, too. The brown looks great, but that orange (nom nom nom!), the blues, the yellows, would do just fine on any Alfa Romeo Montreal, any 70's Maserati, even 70's Porsches and BMW’s. Well done, Chevy.

I’d make mine a 2LT (don’t want/need the extra leather of the 3LT but I do want the vented seats of the 2LT for open top driving on hot days) with the Z51 package & magneride. Elkhart Lake Blue over Sky Cool Gray with the Carbon Flash wheels..

Am I doing it right?

1982 called, it wants its post back.

The almost 4000 lb Camaro ZL1 1LE has a ‘Ring time of 7:16. The Z06 won the Car and Driver lightning lap going away vs Lamborghinis and McLarens. Telling me that GM can’t make great handling cars is like telling me that pigs don’t make great tasting bacon. And this is coming from a Ford guy. If there’s ONE thing that

What are you going on about? What other manufacturer has made more great handling cars for under $100k? With the exception of the CTSV and C7 Z06, all these were within spitting distance or less than Cayman.

umm do you know what the 6th gen Camaro is doing? Staying with 911's on track? You might want to look at GM a little closer...

You mean aside from the Camaro 1LEs, Z/28s, and Corvettes of the last 6 years that have won multiple “Best Drivers Cars”, Head-to-Head competitions, and been named to Top-10 lists my major auto mags?

Glorious NA V8 bellow > strangled turbo 4 wheezing

So you’ve been living under a rock for the past 20 years? What’s your definition of exceptional handling? Lap times? Skid pad? Cruising? Go look at any Corvette or even GM performance car lap times on any race track and then come back and update your outdated views.
