Yeah, BMW Welt is in Munich. The Mercedes museum was fantastic.

I went to Germany in 2013, and I drove 2 laps of the N Ring and went to BMW Welt, Mercedes museum and the Porsche museum

My point is that determining whether something in the road can be driven over or must be driven around is something humans can determine in an instant with very high reliability is all manner of weather and lighting conditions.

Well there’s your problem. I can’t image how the US auto fleet could transform to fully autonomous overnight. If they’re going to work, they’ll have to successfully interact with human driven cars and pedestrians.

I have a degree in CS and wrote software for 20 years and while I’d love an autonomous car, I’m a bit skeptical. I read last year the google car couldn’t discern between a rock in the road and a plastic shopping bag.

I’d rather be fired over the phone than having to get in my car and drive to some office just to be told the same thing.

Only 2 years of training and no residency. No thanks, I’ll stick to an actual Dr.

The Resident Evil series is the Citizen Kane of video game movies.

Completely agree. But sadly, there’s no collectivist scheme dems won’t go in for.

Assuming no voting malfeasance, if people show up at primaries and vote for him, he’ll get the nomination.

Not a BS supporter, but it’s entirely possible for him to win the nomination. A *significant* portion of the dem electorate supports euro style socialism and would eagerly vote for a socialist candidate, if that candidate had a decente chance at victory.

It’s the same chassis, so anybody priced out of the Fox market would do well to look at an SN95.

Wow, making fun of middle aged white guys, truly transgressive comedy!

The Germans were on the wrong track for nuclear bombs. The first fission reaction was at the University of Chicago (though credit an Italian immigrant). The Manhattan Project was 100% American.

The TV we know, the CRT, was invented by Philo Farnsworth. Go look it up.

Yes and No.

There weren’t any German nationals working on the Manhattan Project. Oppenheimer was Born in NY, NY.

That’s a good point, though I’ll bet younger Germans use “Bro”. Nearly everyone in Germany under 45 speaks perfect english and english slang is everywhere.
