The point was the game was barely playable without a day one patch before. They wanted the game to be at least mostly stable without the need for a day one patch so that people without internet wouldn’t have to suffer.

Most sci-fi based horror work that way though. The original premise is usually loose plausible science but when they have to explain the intricacies then liberties have to be taken.

Socializing also takes practice so the more I’m alone the harder it is to interact with people when you do get around them.
