Considering the taxes citizens pay, you’re damn right. If you're going to build a city, you should have a vague understanding as to what the hell you're doing.
Perhaps the city should investigate why it’s infrastructure can’t handle rainwater in the dead of summer without creating huge pools in the street. What the hell happens there in the winter when the storm drains are covered in ice, snow, and debris? 20,000 leagues under the sea?

When I was a kid there were two things that were a given: Flying cars, and California breaking off from the US mainland and sinking into the ocean due to seismic activity.
