Backpeddling twit.

Yep. From the guy caught on camera saying nigger.

One of my gay guy friends has a conspiracy theory that Andy Cohen isn’t really gay. He’s just living out a stereotype of a bitchy, catty, awful, disrespectful gay man to hold back progress for the normal, nice, kind gay men out there.

Man, the endorphin rush that comes with reading such a righteously furious and intelligent post like this is wonderful.

Andy Cohen has been on my “White Gays Shit-List” for a really long time.

I feel like I have to say this every time a gay white man does something racist and/or sexist.

Some days it’s just too much.

The 29 stars on Zelda did it!s “I just can’t imagine it not happening to guys” post. And the 70 stars on AllThingsAreNothingToMe’s “It actually happens to men more than women” reply. They’re the first and third post in the comments. Dranzerk’s 29 stars for “Woman don’t have thick skin is the whole problem.” That

Fuck your flamethrower, nuke it from orbit.

Yeah— see also, “Gamergate is NOT all about hating on women! Now stop bullying me, you cunt!”

Lol, that has always been the response to women online. Look at when those gamer women brought up sexism in games, the immediate response was “You lying cunt”, etc.

The Gizmodo commentary crushed my spirit.

Well, I find nice abs and well-formed biceps distracting too, but somehow that doesn’t make me harass dudes on the net. So, yeah, it seems to be a “guy problem” which has little to nothing to do with us women having breasts.

Ugh, that comment about female gamers on Twitch especially irks me to no end! I follow two German girl gamers on Twitch who wear super baggy clothing and do their damnedest not to show any cleavage (which in itself is sad as fuck, having to police your body like that), but the chat is still filled with horny, gross

And the second most popular comment is basically “women need thicker skins and also they wear shirts that show the shape of their bodies so they deserve what they get.”

My current favourite is “women are too sensitive, this behaviour doesn’t negatively impact us macho macho men”.

My honest answer is, I don’t know. I had a lot of great girlfriends, romantic and platonic, and it was by learning from them that gave me a vastly different understanding than the one I got growing up in a military family with older brothers. I’d say, for men, surround yourself with strong women friends and take what

So basically their response to a rant about women getting treated like shit online is to treat women like shit online...?

My husband got really freaked out when he saw what some MRA types wrote to me after I commented on an editorial about domestic violence. Of course he wanted me to stop commenting about stuff online, so I had to do the whole “I will not be silenced” speech. But seriously, make that shit a crime already.
