All I am going to say is, when you folks started to storm the job scene, is when we started to get flex time, better vacation or leave time, better job perks (like my current job gives me 17% off my phone bill), and being able to work from home or remote from any location.  I love the working from home, been doing it

True about the Analog generation, but don’t confuse that with us not understanding computer and technology. Our generation created a lot of the tech, your generation got to use and master. While the boomers made it possible (transistors, IC chips and better memory storage), we came up the tech that made the internet

Talk to my father and some of his cronies and then get back to me, according to him you guys are the problem. The reason a lot of my Generation doesn’t like you is you come into a place and want to move up fast while the Gen X’ers who have been there forever think you should wait your turn. Because the latter boomer

Oi’ Don’t knock early bird specials. When I visit my dad, we will usually do breakfast close to noon, then do the early bird specials for a late lunch. You get a full meal for the price of a smaller lunch portion. Then if we are hungry later, we just make a sandwich or salad at home.

Especially when you are starting out. You want to make a good impression and you have no idea how they will react to certain titles or naming conventions. When I have to go on site for a customer, management is always Sir and Ma’am, unless they tell me to address them by their first name. But when I am working in the

Sounds like my Mini, I could of got out of there just under $33K, but having to buy that package and one other option, it bumped the price to $36.5K, yeah I am missing all those auto braking, lane departure, and blind spot detection, along with a HUD. Two options I am making sure Mini #5 have is an auto dimming

That one still gets to me at 45, I understand but it still stings sometimes when it happens. The worst was working in a field where I worked around Naval officers and having Commanders and Lt. Commanders call me sir. I was in my 20's at the time and it never felt right, I always called them sir back when addressing

That is cool about your ATS, I do want to try the ATS-V coupe. I prefer 2 over 4 doors with my small cars. Glad you enjoy it, and I 100% agree with you on the current Mercedes lines. Unless you get a x63 or x65 series in the line you want (C, E, etc...) they are just too pricey, that is why I prefer the BMW and

That makes sense, it is amazing to see all the changes that have happened in my lifetime. I am on the cusp of this generation, I was born in ‘73. I mean just the last 20 years things seemed to accelerate even faster, I can’t wait to see the next 20 years.

But what does the ATS have going for it really? You have to move into an ATS-V to really have a fun car, otherwise you are just buying a baby Caddy and you could do so much better. Also up here where I live most Caddys are sold in AWD configurations over RWD, same with most BMW’s, Merc’s and well of course by default

Works for me.

I am actually a Gen X, born in ‘73. And I don’t believe all the shit everyone blames on Millennials either. They are just a product of their time and the changing social norms of our times, and since we resist change on a lot of things, we look down on them. Just like when I was starting out in the world, just outside

Yeah I never heard of that one before either, I was wondering what they would call them.

Your right, the info I had was a bit skewed, but then again no one can seem to decide:

Yes like a lot of us Gen X’ers too. I had a choice to be a W-2 or 1099 employee with my company, the W-2 paid very well and gave me benefits. Also between contracts I get paid while I sit on the bench doing stuff for other departments, also I get my taxes deducted automatically. Verses being a 1099 where I only get

Millennials dates are from the late 80's to 2000. Z generation, is 2000 on.  This will be the first year the oldest of them can vote, with even more in 2020.

Add to that, if someone wants a luxury sedan from Germany or Japan, Cadillac is at the bottom of the list, that is if it even makes the list. It is not that Cadillac has the issues of the malaise era of the 70's through to the 90's, but still in the memory of those that can afford a Caddy and reminds them do they want

This is still vaporwear until the first units start hitting customer hands.  I am glad I didn’t do the $1,000 deposit as I would be pissed as that money is being held in limbo.  If they ever make it to market, I may get one as a fun weekend vehicle, but that is a big if.

I remember in the early 2000's we had those checks here in NH, entire state. They found it was not reliable when a news channel or news paper, can’t recall, took 3 brand new cars off the lot and drove them different inspection centers and all three cars failed. The machines they were using had some sort of software
