I think they were trying to be ambiguous with arlene's baby trying to make you think the kid was an anti christ, but it was misdirection and arlene flipping out over normal things babies do.

I agree that the episode was boring, I kept on checking to see how much time was left and was stunned that it was going so slowly. I'm sick of the characters finding one piece of evidence and then not doing anything about it till next week. its just filler that barely moves the story along.
