I liked that song, and the episode would have been one THOUSAND times better if that had been the proposal. Emma asking will, rather then a bit agonizing musical number in front of a crowd of people who are not in the relationship.

I think this episode would be better if instead of Mercedes singing her song to sam, she was singing it to tater tots.
