Yeah, it’s a little disappointing. The game itself is fantastic, as Heather says. The campaign is wonderful and the multiplayer is super fun, but it would be nice to mix and match your weapons/abilities for your titan. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I don’t understand why they didn’t make it an option. More

Fuck you, Good and Plenty is delicious. Just don’t ever freeze them. I cracked three teeth that way.

Jesus Christ they’re not the Smithsonian. Of course they don’t care about preserving the past. They’re running a business.

That seriously looks awesome, but for God’s sake dust that TV.

I don’t disagree with your contention that you could get a better price selling online, but presumably somebody who plays it will be the end owner regardless. It’s not like GS is going to just put it in a vault somewhere, they’re looking to sell it to a gamer.

But he said explicitly they were duplicates, it’s not like he was pawning off something of great sentimental value he would never be able to see again. And yeah, GS will rip you off a bit on trade prices, but some people aren’t comfortable brokering their own deals online, and not every location has a mom and pop shop

This is the right move. Naughty Dog, Bioware, Rockstar, Blizzard. Their games always get a preorder from me because I have absolute faith in them and I want to reward the kind of consist quality they’ve shown over the years.

The aesthetic, music, and story were great. The gameplay was solid, nothing revolutionary, but packaged together it was a really compelling experience. There’s not a lot else out there in the western themed space.

I think most people throw down $5 or so for a pre-order, they don’t generally pay the whole amount. And you can always get the $5 back if you change your mind (for example shitty reviews make you decide not to get it). There’s essentially no risk when you pre-order, and to your point it often nets you an in-game item

Schilling starts out by proclaiming that it’s totally normal for adults to remark on the physical appearance of their friends’ kids

Yep. We make sure to give our kid’s teachers $100 giftcards every Christmas and at the end of the school year. They’re always taken aback and almost uncomfortable with it, but I tell them it doesn’t come close to representing the value they provide.

It’s insane. For fulltime daycare for our 2 year old and the after school program for the 7 year old, we pay over $1,300 per month. Add another $400 per month for my wife’s student loan payment, and we’re out of pocket $1,700 per month on things that are necessities (well, I don’t know that college is necessarily a

I love you.

That close up on the face is really good. Looks amazingly like Ventriss.

Getting a Rift or Vive (“real” VR headsets) would be a better option than buying an all new Galaxy S7, which will run you $600+. But if you’re looking to get a new phone or upgrade your current phone anyway, this is a much cheaper option.

Gunjack is a pretty good game you can get for about 5 bucks. I use the Netflix app on flights or long car trips when I’m not driving. There’s a ton of 360 degree video/app content that is hit or miss. Some of it is really cool, but is generally tech demo/proof-of-concept type stuff rather than a full fledged product.

If you’re really interested in VR as a concept it might be worth checking out. Since it only works with newer phones it has far superior head tracking than the cheaper, cardboard-type alternatives. This makes for a much smoother experience that I imagine would help with your headache problem. But there’s no guarantee,

There are some interesting apps, but it’s mainly tech demo proof-of-concept stuff right now. I got the Gear VR free with a phone upgrade and it’s a cool toy, and a neat way to show people the potential of VR, but it’s not something that will completely change your entertainment habits. But it IS great for watching

I’ don’t understand the appeal of getting these women to perform sexual acts under extreme duress. I mean, I’m a rational and decent person so it stand to reason I wouldn’t understand the appeal, but just on every level it seems awful. How would that be enjoyable for him? I guess it’s a power thing? Just the thought
