I honestly don’t see what the arguement was about the subpoena. If he was making a fuss about it, they should have just gave him the bird and issued one. Really don’t see why they felt the need to reassure him. It’s presently his job. If he can’t(or won’t) do it, get rid of him and move on.

Considering the stuff I’ve seen/heard of that idiot doing, I think NOT letting it slide would make him more likely to do it. He would want the extra outrage, and a lot of his viewers are dumbasses who enjoy it anyway. (A lot does not mean all. Even though I’m fairly certain they’re ALL dumbasses, I can’t be sure.)

I agree. I know several people who only care about that, and nothing else. I wonder what they’d do if they got cancer or something, but odds are most of these folks would just go “But I’m healthy.”

I have a buddy at work vehemently defending the ‘tax cuts’ because his refund went up 1k this year. He doesn’t seem to equate that with the loads of hours he worked.

Could also be she repressed the memory of it. Convinced herself it didn’t happen, in the aftermath and grief of her passing. There’s no telling, because no matter the case I doubt she’ll ever be forthcoming on it in a way we would see as honest.

I’ll be honest - I haven’t read a whole lot they’ve said on the issue - but if anything, I’d think they just don’t want to think something like that happened to their little girl. I would imagine it’s difficult for them to face, especially if they truly had no idea.

Sigh. I really wish I could afford a switch. I’ve got an Xbox One but I think it was broken during a move. I haven’t had a chance to see if it works this past year. Although, even if it was in completely working order, I don’t think I could afford the games at the moment.

Some folks find it fun. I’m not one of them, but I know a few players who play it what I’d call an insane amount.

I doubt anyone would do this - but why don’t the networks just say something like “We’re planning to air the President’s speech, as long as it is factual. If he deviates from the facts, we’re going to cut the feed.” and then have it framed in the picture with that statement on air?

Inorite? I can’t seem to find the one now. I didn’t even have a kid at the time, I was walking through the store looking for summat for my nephews birthday and it popped out at me. Blew my mind. I really wanna find summat similar for when my kid needs to potty train, but alas, no luck so far.

I get that. But personally, I usually just post it to my Dropbox in a folder specifically for that purpose, and forward the link to family. I don’t feel the need to post any pictures of myself or my kid. (Admittedly, there are a few dog pictures though...) And there’s only a few pictures even of me that are from after…
