As a current resident of Nagoya City in Aichi prefecture, Japan, I can tell you that people STILL throw their gum on train platforms. In six months, I have stepped in more gum here, than I did in ten years back in the states. No joke.

I really think FB would benefit from a "Like" menu. A drop down menu with "like", "meh", "dislike","love", "hate" and so on. Think the emoticon drop down menu on skype or similar messaging programs.
