You've got your shows mixed up, methinks.
'ice cubes', not Ice Cubes. We'd have to invent cloning to be able to drag a bag of Ice Cubes.
He meant his ice cubes. It's a lot easier to carry a big heavy bag of ice without dragging it on the ground when you're standing upright as opposed to walking on 4 legs. :)
I must say, I really enjoyed that story. Full of nuance, subtlety and a halo of melancholy that I think captured the inherent sadness in the imagined existence.
I didn't listen, and I'm not paid up on my cuteness insurance! Now how shall I afford to buy tiny adorable insulin pumps to counteract this onslaught of cute-sugar???
This ad actually made me sad that I was too young (-4, to be precise) to have ever heard about this game, much less play it.
Wow, I totally cannot believe I missed this thread back on Tuesday... I was even looking for it!
To be fair, I was quite young when I read it. Maybe 10 or 11. So, at the time, I was quite inclined to believe that the so-called autobiography was quite true. Now, less so, but it definitely made an impact on my childhood thought processes.
I read a book when I was much younger called "When Rabbit Howls..." which was, to me, far more intense than "Sybil", though it dealt with the same subject matter. Anyone else ever read that?
Why did it seem to me that the short villain-dude should be played by Travolta? O.o I was honestly surprised not to hear his voice.
Clearly they should have gotten Craig Ferguson. Heh... that could have been awesome.
"Touch" looks like it might make a fairly engaging film. Series, though? Not sure.
That cello video was freakin' awesome. The elf audition was fun, but very little compares to a talented musician on a classical stringed instrument in my mind - the effects & humor just made it even better.
Agreed! Somebody in another thread asked me who Sola was while simultaneously saying they'd read 'Princess' back in August... I was all like, WTF?!
I'm not even a real Watchmen fan, but this made me simultaneously laugh and feel nauseous.
I know it's childish, but fucitol and the chemical structure of it makes me laugh.

OK - hell with it. I'm sold. All of the critters (Tharks included) look pretty damn good in motion, something which the screen shots did not give them credit for.
