I can actually say that last night’s episode was the best of the season. Largely because it feels like it ties into the core themes of the source material but with its own unique take. I’ll be the first to admit that I was wrong about my concerns that Lindelof doesn’t understand Watchmen.

The Superman actors are a wonderful coincidence, but Bass Reeves was an actual person.

DUDE.

Oh my god
I snorted water out of my nose at that comment

See HBO, you can end a story properly. :D

More interested in the sequel Deadspin 2 with all of the original characters

May I introduce you to Outer Worlds as a nice stop gap

Just play The Outer Worlds, it’s better anyway.

Nobody seems to care about the fact that there are men out there that are being manipulated by these women.

I just want to read one article without having to mute “Hey Lauren, I like your top.” If I wanted to watch Kinja video content, I’d unmute the video, or click on the original links (the Punjabi-Canadian hockey story was excellent video journalism just btw). Auto-play audio is fucking annoying, no matter what site is

I get this from some properties but I never got that vibe from the MCU. It eased into the superhero wackyness over a few movies and they do have a habit of showing actors pretty faces(it’s what they are paying for after all) but I never thought they hated what the genre was.

It seems worth mentioning that the GB vs DET hail mary highlight the NFL loves to show as an example of their fine drama was also the result of a phantom hands to the face call on the previous play.

As a Lions fan you can only see this shit play out so many times before you start to question why you bother to watch NFL

My tin-hat theory is that the NFL will not allow the Lions to win until they give back the Thanksgiving game so that the NFL can have it in a bigger market.

As a bills fan it would pain me to no end, but we should have taken the hit and made sure Trump bough us instead of the pegulas. The onfield product couldn't get worse, and the rest of the world is saved

I mean, LA clearly cares about NFL football. Just not necessarily about Chargers football (or the Rams necessarily either, judging from all the red at yesterdays game). But the owners don’t care who the people sitting in the stands cheer for. They paid for tickets, parking, probably a lot of beer and stuff, and their

Fortpiercer.

People may think it shitty or unfair, but the Astros have been very good at solving this kind of shit at the best possible time. Ask Yu Darvish about it.

A lot of people don’t realize this, but if you throw out that first inning they only lost 3-1. That’s pretty close.

Yup. There’s definitely a divide.
