It’s because the only people they appeal to are miserable beyond redemption, and the closest thing they feel to a positive emotion is trying to make others as miserable as they are.

The real question is how come people aren’t lining up to watch a very exciting starter named Stanek throw 2 fun innings to start their decidedly not sloppy or boring brand of baseball?
Honestly, it kind of makes me wish there was another episode, because the Unsullied holding Jon captive while the council names him the rightful heir to the thrown would have been some good GoT. It’s clear that Grey Worm is the reason he isn’t considered, but (again, in my humble opinion) it wasn’t a satisfying…
My issue wasn’t with where Jon ended up. I agree that it made sense and in it’s own way was a fulfilling conclusion. That said, there was something that felt empty about his heritage only being relevant as a reason for Dany’s descent into madness, and zero relevance to the final decision on the throne.
I realize it makes sense that stores of wildfire around the city would explode, but it felt more like the effects team was like “oooh, green fire would look cool” and it was weird that it never came up as a plot function in any way.
In the Anthem article, it was mentioned how they preferred to be compared to Diablo III and not Destiny. Aside from a more similar backdrop, I think DA could really pull off that type of coop play. And I don’t mean just endlessly grinding rifts, just that there are set characters you can play that will be part of your…
To this day, Thor 2 is the only one I haven’t rewatched. I don’t remember it being bad, I just don’t remember it much at all.
I’m an old school guy. However I’ve come to grips with bat flips and pimping homers being a part of the game, and even started enjoying some of the flair. But it feels like this guy just went too far. That looked like a celebration in MLB The Show that I turned off for being over the top.
That would have been best, I agree. I just mean I wonder if they would do it like this again...
It’s fine, they are going to go after Arenado after this season.
Another excellent read. I was interested in the development of this, and if they learned anything from Andromeda (seems they didn’t). Overall though, this doesn’t seem to be a drama filled disaster. More it just seems like no one stepped up to push it along, and once someone finally did it was too far gone.
“Frostbite sucks” is becoming a common theme in every EA game. I wonder though how different things could have been if they took more from ME:A and Dragon Age instead of starting from scratch in regards to Frostbite.
Firing blanks would be the best solution. The combo of visual cover and audio cover would make it more viable not just for Mirage, but also give a bit of team utility as creating confusion in a firefight is very helpful.
I said this a few times, but he is Trump if Trump stuck to reality TV instead of destroying reality.
Fairly or unfairly, OBJ put the Giants through a bunch of shit. He’s a fantastic WR, but undoubtedly a headache. But what he is, most of all, is a superstar. He gets attention, sells jersey’s, and keeps the Giants newsworthy. And that’s what they paid him for.
I think there are people like me on the other side of that as well. I expected a Destiny clone with a Bioware spin. I played Destiny (1 and 2) and the division, all at launch. All the games at launch were fun, but I wouldn’t say they were good. I know the launch state of a looter shooter is usually a few solid weeks…
I wouldn’t say arrogant personally... but once he saw he got the Tuck triggered, he definitely relished it. Can’t say I blame him because I think we would all smirk a little if we out-trolled the troll.
This is the best way to look at it. Unless Machado can force his hand like Stanton did, he would have to fall off pretty drastically to not bring back some return in a 2023 deadline deal.
I wouldn’t fill your cup with the tears of Yankees, you’ll end up pretty thirsty. Most Yankee fans aren’t upset about this at all, either because Machado is a dirtbag player, or because that is a helluva a contract that we are happy Cashman wouldn’t go near. I mean of course you’ll get the “We R SO RICH SIGN EVERYONE…
I’ve defended Mike a few times around here. Not his takes, not that he’s right about things, just that he’s in an entertainment medium and he’s usually entertaining. The last few years, he’s transitioned in a cranky grandpa role and I found it still to be occasionally worthwhile radio. I would say to people that Mike…
