It’s supposed to be a system of Checks and Balances. Unfortunately though, one party has checked all three branches, so there is no balance.

Jim Rome had one of the best takes on this (words I’m not sure have ever been uttered) by telling Fiers to look at the flap on Stanton’s helmet, and remember he’s the reason why it’s there.
It’s almost as if some people use Jesus to internally rationalize and justify their own close minded beliefs.
It’s hard to think that a 4 minute video mostly comprised of two adult males sitting near each other and not doing anything could possibly be more entertaining than this.
Just about the only positive thing coming from this Trumpster fire is that people are now paying attention.
The ESPN Radio feed was like a cameraman biting on a play action and following a RB into the line through the entire tackle, then zipping the camera downfield on a WR who already had the ball going for a touchdown.
People have different priorities. I guess to people who aren’t religious, we can’t comprehend the idea of turning down a job or a position you’ve worked hard for your entire life because you don’t support the lifestyle of someone you’ve never met who has zero impact on your own lifestyle. I know I certainly can’t.
It’s a big problem. Companies (and those who run them) can fight back publicly, but if they do they will get the most powerful toddler in the world fired up. And he has enough of a following that when he gets angry about something, so does 40% of the country. Just look at the article on Deadspin about Trumps influence…
This is the most Mets thing of all. Their team is old, their system is weak, and they need to rebuild. There is a team with a stacked farm system that desperately needs the one thing of extreme value they can offer. However, that team is also the one team they can not and will not trade with.
On one hand, I love Fallout, and Fallout with friends could be a ton of fun. On the other hand, Fallout has some pretty consistent (though hilarious) bugs, and the Division pretty much imploded in it’s first couple months because of bugs, glitches, and exploits. It could be spectacular, or a spectacular failure.
It’s clearly going to be a 76 person battle royale that takes place entirely in a shelter.
If they brought back Chapelle Show, there should be a segment called “When Triggering Libs Goes Wrong”.
They really blew it. They should have just recasted Roseanne like they did Becky back in the day. John Goodman did nothing wrong! Did he? He probably did. Never mind.
Currently, that is not that hot a take. But the Blue Album and Pinkerton are fantastic. On the early albums, there is a lot more going on than just catchy music.
That would be pretty awesome. Have them flip the script and portray Fett as the antihero while Solo is presented as the bad ass side villain. If he has a significant enough role in a Fett movie, they could show how the “I know what you really are” line from Qi’ra keeps him from become what she says he is.
Teräs Käsi, Vibro knucklers... If they had a person with a pet Angler it would have really made the SWG vets proud.
My stupid meaningless fan pitch is that the Boba Fett movie is a sequel of sorts to Solo, and will focus on a turf war between the Hutt Cartel and Crimson Dawn.
What is the proper handling of this situation? If the officer tells her to stop repeatedly and she keeps walking? It’s not even close to worthy of unholstering a firearm. Is brandishing a taser (it wasn’t used) the correct response? Grabbing her arm doesn’t feel necessary, but was it? And letting her walk away isn’t…
This whole story is frustrating. The protest started to spark debate on systemic racism, a serious and very real issue. Its now become a soapbox for middle aged men to cry about how a 5 second panoramic shot of black men kneeling during a nationalistic ritual somehow ruins a 3 hours of grown men running into each…
November, 2018. Hopefully.
