The NFTs thing was a smoke screen dude. You know Hasbro has released NFTS before?
WhenEVEV Game of Thrones is brought up I instantly think of a couple of boiled eggs sitting in a vending machine :D and then of course all the usual as you’ve just linked to ;)
Yeah... it’s the same situation with the Kingkiller series... Books one and two came out in 2007 and 2011... and I’ve been waiting for 9 years for the 3rd book to come out.
I honestly don’t care about Winds of Winter anymore. It’s been 8 years since I finished A Dance of Dragons and I couldn’t remember most of the book only plot points if you put a gun to my head. I can’t be arsed working my way through a wiki to get refreshed on the plot points.

Not that Elon’s response is any better and is arguably worse.

Now a days a rich person can fire off a tweet from…
Of course it is! It was something fresh and new. Something that hasn’t been done before in that genre let alone movies in general. And most importantly, it gave a wider audience a chance to see what us geeks were raving about so long ago.
Funny, too, I’ve always wanted to see Phil meet up with Pepper again.
