@AbAeterno: I doubt it, it doesn't look like Apple put the "Hold until 6/24" notice out to FedEx yet, as soon as they do everyone's delivery date will change to no earlier than 6/24.

My only (completely irrelevant) question is...where did that itemized screenshot come from? I ordered through AT&T Premier (Business) and I just get a screen with a blue check mark, it says SHIPPED and lists the FedEx tracking number.

@frigg: Umm the point of pre-ordering is to pay the exact same amount as you but NOT wait those 1-2 weeks, seems pretty obvious. To each his own.

@tensai: 2 hour battery life ftl

@Hackintosh: Where does it say that? The earlier article on here certainly seemed to say the opposite to me...

@cowboybebopfan: Except that for the $300 price you're not getting Kinect.

@FrancesTheMute: They generally come in on launch day, but I definitely wouldn't use the word guarantee. Especially since it's really out of Apple's hands and could come down to something as silly as your local FedEx being overloaded on the 24th or the truck getting a flat tire on your route. I think you should

@★DoYouLikeToastToo?: You obviously have to pick, how could they possibly accurately send the right amount of phones to the right stores if they don't even know which color you want yet? You think if you pre-order the 16GB they're going to send one of each just in case? And it's launch day, it's not like they have

@wc77183: What does this question even mean? What hasn't been clearly explained? If you're eligible, you get the $199/299 price and you have the option to keep your $30 data or go to one of the new $15/$25 plans. I don't see what there really is to be confused about unless I'm missing something.

@Ben92: It definitely didn't, and Giz oh-so-helpfully slide it in there at some point without putting an Update tag around it somewhere.

@mike.mac: Is that even an option? Grandfathering the 2G data was not an option when you went to 3G or 3G[S], you HAD to go to the $30 plan, so I'd be surprised if they let you go from iPhone1 to 4 with that plan. The only thing I've heard mentioned as far as grandfathering is the $30 3G plan.

@Stevenk: It was 8amPST/11amEST for the iPad preorder.

@Jerry Glonek: I've read elsewhere that it was 8amPST/11amEST for the iPad pre-orders for what that's worth.

THEY SET US UP THE BOMB!

@Stevenk: And here I thought FedEx delivered packages for roughly 12 hours out of the day, it's good to know they're everywhere at 11am. I wonder what they do for the rest of the day once it's 11:05 and all the packages are delivered though? /sarcasm

If I didn't know better I'd think that anyone with a huge axe to grind and a DVR could nitpick any major sporting event like this.

Nice to see Motorola back to resting on it's laurels after having exactly 1 successful piece of hardware in the 7 years since the RAZR. The Droid 2 is lackluster in every way and falls well short of other Android phones that are already available, let alone ones that haven't even been announced yet. Thing thing is

@RikD: I'm sorry, but it's as though you just popped up and posted that comment/question in 2010 without paying any attention to anything that's happened in the last 5-10 years. Google "open wifi court defense".

@balloondoggle: It doesn't change every time you connect, that would be far too inefficient, IP leases from ISPs are generally 14-30 days. And the ISP keeps a list of who had what IP for what time period.

@RikD: Umm yes, believe it or not you're not the first person to think of that in the year 2010. And guess what? It doesn't hold up in court, your lawyer would cut you off before you even finished the sentence.
