Came here to post this. Well done sir!

I’m seeing Hugh Laurie as the Prince Regent in Blackadder The Third. If you don’t know of this historical very accurate series, just look at a few clips on YouTube. You’ll get the gist pretty quickly.

Must resist urge to make Queensland cousins joke....must resist

There have been some recent credible sightings in Queensland (yeah I know...) and some proper ranger/scientist types are setting up remote cameras to see if they can get a pic. Last one was supposed to have died in 1936. Would be so cool if was a real thing.

Could be a problem in markets like Australia that mandate a speedo in direct line of sight of driver. Alfa - and I think MINI - had to swap tach and speedo to comply. Not sure what Tesla will do to meet such regulations.

Fuck ‘em. Carpe diem.

This is possibly going to be a short term prospect as Opel is now owned by Peugeot not GM. I’m giving this - and the Holden Commodore - five years then dunno. Something from GM Korea?

You Yanks just don’t how to spell things properly:

That is a terrifying photograph.

Could’ve been Darwin and he was going for a job interview.

He’s a Queenslander. He will wear thongs (not “flip-flops”), footy shorts, and a  t-shirt to his wedding.

Good work by the older men of the tribe. Give the young boy a task involving his totem animal, let him complete it himself and then, with the ritual handshake and “Good on ya son” acclimation, a boy begins the path to manhood. The next step, circle work with the family ute.

Opels were always better after Holden stuck a V8 in them. But now the dead hand of GM has killed that off as well. It would have been better to let GM die cleanly. It’s now going to be a slow painful death over many years, just like British Leyland.

GM is the perfect example of what happens when you put America First and ignore the rest of the world. Failure overseas. Failure locally. The most successful automobile manufacturers (VW, Toyota) have a global perspective.

It’s not the fall that kills you, it’s the sudden stop at the end.

Overcompensation maybe? They probably have small hands.

No, let’s use our words properly now. Not bad, just wrong. Very, very wrong.

Or a Holden

I still have my 2007 Gen4 wagon but its getting old and pretty tired now. Have been looking to replace it for some time but nothing seems right. The Levorg is sadly not as good as we hoped it would be as it’s based on the superseded Imprezza. I reckon the best bet, which should come to the States, is the Kia Stinger.
