Kaine, Biden, and almost every other VP candidate have all been election props. People that most likely never would’ve been president, but play sidekick well enough and could manage the presidency in exigent circumstances if required.

This is the most likely scenario, and he’s definitely got the highest ranking position, but I’m curious to see how Gingrich and Guiliani handle being subordinate to someone who has never had as high a profile as them politically.

i wonder if there’s any likelihood of a power struggle between Gingrich, Giuliani and Pence, three lifelong unelectables suddenly finding themselves the power behind the throne. There wasn’t a clear plan and hierarchy in place going in- with W, Cheney was the boss from the beginning. It isn’t so clear here.

You can’t communicate rationally with these people though. I mean you can try, but it’s useless and emotionally draining.

I’m a grown man and I’m in pain over this. I am also told to ignore it if it happens to me. I too feel anxiety when out in public alone, and sometimes even when with friends, though I feel safer when I have people with me.
