Kirk (and the episode) would have been better off if he were defended by Hyperchicken.

Hey, they took my "claw gesture" out of that! I didn't know there was forbidden punctuation here, i.e. > and <.

Cat Noise!

TZ used that shadow effect quite often, and to great effect. I.E. the shadow of the Jack in the Box in "It's a Good Life" was probably more disturbing than anything they could have shown.

"although there's an upcoming ep where the synthesizer makes chicken soup"

@Darby - You Rock! +10 internets

Another great thing about this film…
is the relatively unspoiled scenery of the West, including the beauty of Glenwood Canyon Colorado before the Interstate went through.

If they studied my dreams we'd all get death by snu snu with Summer Glau.

Cameron was barely in it (though the underwear shot was cool), no Weaver, no Cromartie/John Henry. When are the writers going to get it through their thick skulls the robots are the most interesting characters in this story. Sheesh!

"You want the truth?"
"I can't handle the truth!"

More than anything else…
Farmer was fun. When he got tired of playing in the universes he created, he'd go play in someone else's. Besides the one's mention above, also check out 'The Other Log of Phineas Fogg', and 'A Barntormer in Oz' (you'll think of the Good Witch the same way again).

I loved the Riverworld novels, but he never could seem to decide how (or whether) to end the story. After two excellent (and kinda short) books, the third book in the trilogy turned into two much longer books that so failed to resolve the story that he felt compelled to write a fifth book. It didn't help.

"The story about the old people having sex at the nursing home is a must-read."

Arnold in 'Arnold' (1973)

The Madeline subplot seemed a little pointless at first, but that moment of emotional connection at the end made it more than worth it.

"Way to kill the franchise, Bakula!"

I'd rather have futuristic crullers.

His name is even Dr. Adams! Oh, and the inscription over the door to the Plane…arium sez: "Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni."

@Sugartits

We've secretly replaced the dilithium crystals normally used to run the Enerprise with Folger's. Let's see if they can tell the difference.
